Climate Change Views from the Next Generation
As part of a national libraries promotion, Shelf Life, we are asking schools and pupils to help us create an eBook for our eLibrary – BorrowBox.
Shelf Life aims to have communities join the Climate Change debate at your local library.
We are looking for schools and pupils to display their digital skills by creating Digital Art that showcases the importance of Climate Change to them and to write a short paragraph or sentence to tell us what the next generation thinks about how we can all work together for the good of the planet that we live on – bringing the Climate Change debate to our eLibrary.
It’s time to get creative with your technology using apps and programmes to show what Climate Change means to you, whether it be the importance of recycling, caring for wildlife, environmental impacts, sustainability or much more. It really is up to you.
The deadline for submissions is: Monday 22 April 2024 – Earth Day
The eBook will go live on BorrowBox on Monday 29 April 2024.
Please note – All entries will not be included. However, at least one entry will make the final eBook from each North Lanarkshire school that submits multiple entries.
If you’re struggling to submit using the form, please email your submission (including all the details above) to libraries@northlan.gov.uk.
