Westray Community Rooms

Westray Community Room was built in 1972.  This is an ideal venue for smaller functions or meetings within the community. Activities which already take place at the Westray Community Rooms include, the playgroup, the mother and toddlers and self help groups.

Facilities

Westray Community Room consists of one main room, which can hold a maximum of 40 persons for a dinner dance or disco.

There are kitchen facilities available to complement main hall requirements. The kitchen is recommended for re-heating food only and is therefore ideal for catering for hot buffets and heating of ready prepared food. There is no fridge available.

Transport

Westray Community Room is accessible by public transport and a bus stop can be found 300 yards from the centre. It is advised that patrons travelling to this facility by car seek directions before undertaking their journey.
