Gartcosh Community Centre was built in 1903. It is currently used by the local community and surrounding areas. Events which take place in the centre include dance classes, carpet bowling, Community Council meetings, the playgroup and Lodge meetings.
Any type of well-organised event or community based activity would be welcomed by Gartcosh Community Centre and staff.
Gartcosh Community Centre is suitable for most events and has the capacity for a maximum of 70 persons. Set to the rear of the main hall there is a stage, ideal for musical accompaniment for an evening or for the purposes of a performance.
Perfect for a meeting or small gathering or club, the committee room can seat a maximum of 20 persons.
Kitchen facilities are suitable for re-heating food only and may be used for the purpose of hot buffets or heating through ready prepared food. There is a small domestic fridge available if required.
Gartcosh Community Centre is accessible by public transport and a bus stop can be found outside the centre. If travelling to the venue by car please note that there are limited parking facilities in the vicinity of the centre.

Gartcosh Community Centre has a disabled ramp that can be used upon request and all facilities are on the ground level. There are also specially adapted toilets in the centre for use by disabled persons.
