Green Arts : Climate Action for Artists & Cultural Organisations

Green Arts : Climate Action for Artists & Cultural Organisations

Hosted by NL Arts in collaboration with Creative Carbon Scotland, this event is an introduction to and a call to environmental action.

We will look at the many ways we can approach the current climate emergency including; climate justice, mitigation, adaptation and using our creative skills to influence society more broadly. Creative Carbon Scotland and NL Arts believe arts and culture has an essential role in achieving a sustainable future.

Creative Carbon Scotland will provide examples of best practice from local artists and previous projects, give you an opportunity to map activities to tackle carbon emissions, and explore the ways artists can collaborate and use their unique creative skills to engage with climate projects directly. There will also be an opportunity to ask about green arts funding and any questions you may have about starting your sustainability journey.

Please support this event and take the next step with your fellow NL Artist Network members!
