Memories
Last Nite – The Strokes
This song reminds me of when my school days were coming to an end and at an end-of-year show, I performed this song onstage with various school friends. It’s the only time I’ve ever performed onstage and it was nerve-wracking and exciting in equal measures.
Groove is in the Heart – Deee-Lite
We went on a French exchange and I remember us playing this really loud and singing up the back of the bus on the long journey from Brodick to somewhere outside of Lyon, which involved 2 ferries. The teacher told us to ‘turn it down!’ and we got into trouble.
Here Comes the Sun – George Harrison

School’s Out – Alice Cooper

Alright – Supergrass
Not really school, I was finishing uni and it was a roasting hot summer. Was going to T in the Park at Strathclyde Park, and this was on the radio everywhere!
Ride On Time – Black Box
My favourite song in my last years of school!
Perfect – Fairground Attraction
Good times.
Long Hot Summer – The Style Council
1983 – Fab!
Walking On Sunshine – Katrina and the Waves
