The Jim Foley Community Centre formally known as the Craigneuk Community Centre was built in 1975 and was renamed in July 1999 after the late councillor Jim Foley. Regular events to the centre include aerobics, union meetings, self-help groups, carpet bowling, clinics, church activities, judo classes, youth clubs, the elderly forum, church groups, support groups, carpet bowls, dance classes, lunch clubs and social evenings. There is also a regular clinic held in the centre twice a week.
Well-organised social events and community-based activities are welcome at the centre.
Facilities
The main hall in Jim Foley Community Centre has a large capacity intake of 120 persons for a dinner dance and 150 persons for a disco event. There is a stage set to the rear of the hall, which can be used for musical accompaniment or for the purpose of a performance.
Suitable for the purpose of a small gathering or clubs and meetings, there are four committee rooms available. Committee room 1 can hold up to 40 persons, committee room 2 can seat 25 persons, committee room 3 can hold 20 persons and committee room 4 seats 6 persons.
Kitchen facilities are of catering standard and can be used for preparing and cooking evening meals for a large function. Alternatively these facilities can be used for treating guests to a hot buffet or heating through ready prepared food. There is a fridge available if required.
Transport
The Jim Foley Community Centre is accessible by public transport and a bus stop can be found directly outside the centre for daytime travelling and approximately 100 yards from the centre for travelling at nights. There are limited car parking facilities available for patrons making their way to the venue by car.

There are disabled access points to the Jim Foley Community Centre and specially adapted toilet facilities.
