How our libraries offer support for people with visual impairment.
Many of us need a bit of extra help to continue enjoying services because of visual impairment. There are a number of ways in which LogintoLearn provides that bit of extra help to customers and the majority of these services are free:
- We have software such as JAWS and Zoomtext on some of our public access PCs in the four LogintoLearn Centres to enable easy use use of internet and other programs. The centres are in Coatbridge Library, Cumbernauld Library, Motherwell Library and Wishaw Library.
- Windows accessibility options (Ease of Access centre) can be enabled on our public computers.
- Our LogintoLearn Centres can provide help with your smartphones and tablets or point you in the direction of other partner organisations who can give specialist help.
- Our BorrowBox eBook and eAudiobook app lets you adjust font types and sizes and change the colour of the back screen.
