National Poetry Day

Join us for a Social Media Poetry Tour

For National Poetry Day this year, we have put together a Social Media Poetry Tour. Five fantastic poets have recorded a poem for us to put out across our social media channels. All have the theme of Refuge – this year’s National Poetry Day theme.

You can visit each one throughout the day as they go live and all of them will be available on our YouTube channel at the end of the day with them embedded here to view.

National Poetry Day Podcast

Our For the Love of Books podcast this week features a special National Poetry Day episode with a little early festive feel. Our host, Chris Wilson, is joined by children’s author  A. H. Proctor (aka as Angela) who tells us about her very special poem which will be available to see in animated form this festive period – all in aid of Shelter Scotland.

The podcast is available in all major podcast apps or you can listen on our YouTube channel below from 6pm on Thursday 5 October.
