Design a Banner Competition
North Lanarkshire Libraries are excited to announce a competition to celebrate this year’s newly relaunched Summer Reading Challenge. We would like to give Primary children the chance to design an image to be on the posters that are to be displayed in libraries and beyond, all across North Lanarkshire.
The theme year is science so we will be looking for designs that showcase both this and reading. Science-related themes that you could include in your design are:
- Climate and Weather
- Space
- Plants
- Animals
- AI and Robots
- Fossils and Dinosaurs
How to Take Part
The competition is open for children aged 4 – 12 years.
Create your design on the entry form (download it here). Design it portrait. Make sure you include your name, age and contact details and hand it to staff at your local library or email it in to summerreadingchallenge@northlan.gov.uk.
Closing date for entries is Saturday 8 March.
