Take Yourself Back to 1925 with Centenary Reads
Airdrie Library is celebrating 100 years in the current library location. Join our special reading challenge, Centenary Reads – starting March 2025, to celebrate with us. Each month read the book we add to the challenge which was originally published in 1925.
There will be a new title added each month until September 2025, the month the library opened in 1925.

After you are registered, reserve the book for this month or pick up in the library and mark it complete online once you’ve finished. You can also ask staff in the library to register you when you visit.
Join the challenge any time from now until September 2025. If you are a fast reader, you might be able to catch up on previous months reads.
