The First of their Kind in Scottish Public Libraries
Our immersive rooms are the first in a public libraries in Scotland. These exciting and engaging learning environments use digital projection to create an interactive 360 degree experience on all available walls.
In the education programmes you can travel back in time to learn more about Ancient Egypt or Dinosaurs, find out more about volcanoes, visit a virtual art gallery and more.
Perhaps you would rather explore areas of the world both near and far using 360 degree footage or maybe take time to relax and practice some mindfulness on the beach or by colouring in on the walls.
The Immersive Room is available for use by appointment only – we’ll spend some time beforehand discussing and planning your visit.
