How you can help maintain our historic Observatory.
Airdrie Observatory is a fully-functioning and dynamic public resource, run by a local voluntary group on behalf of North Lanarkshire Council.
We welcome all financial donations to the Observatory, the proceeds from which are reinvested in their entirety into the facility and its ongoing work.
Making a donation couldn’t be any easier – small sums can be donated at any time via the Observatory’s dedicated donation box, and larger amounts can be donated by prior arrangement with North Lanarkshire Council.
All financial donations help to maintain the fabric of the Observatory itself, its historic equipment and its ongoing outreach work.
