Print with Greg! – dry-point with carborundum – 28 Feb 26 – Bellshill CC

Saturday 28 Feb 26 – 11am – 5pm – 16yrs+ – Join artist and printmaker Greg Moore for a hands-on and engaging masterclass.
Using dry-point and carborundum techniques, this masterclass provides the opportunity to explore tone and texture using dry-point plates. Following a demonstration, Greg will discuss how he uses carborundum within his own printmaking practice. You will be able to create your own carborundum etchings and print them using inking and wiping plate techniques. Afterwards prints can be hand coloured with watercolour.
Please bring your own cup and a packed lunch (tea/coffee provided). Please also bring an apron or wear old clothes, it can get messy. Participants can also take along source material (photos, sketches) to work from.
