Print with Greg! – dry-point and hand-colouring – 31 Jan 26 – Bellshill CC

Saturday 31 Jan 26 – 11am – 5pm – 16yrs+ – Join artist and printmaker Greg Moore for a hands-on and engaging masterclass. Using dry-point techniques, this masterclass provides opportunities to explore line and tone using dry-point plates. Following a demonstration, Greg will discuss how he uses the dry-point technique within his own printmaking practice. Using tools to draw onto the plates, you will be able to create your own etchings and print them using inking & wiping plate techniques. Afterwards prints can also be hand coloured with watercolour. Please bring your own cup and a packed lunch (tea/coffee provided). Please also bring an apron or wear old clothes, it can get messy. Participants can also take along source material (photos, sketches) to work from.
