Summerlee Museum is a VisitScotland four star attraction. Facilities include bus parking, disabled access and WCs, visitor shop, sweet shop, mine tours, miners’ row and gardens, exhibition hall, café, engine house, Newcomen engine and locomotives, Monkland canal and Vulcan barge, tram rides, play area and picnic tables, engineering pavilion, sawmill and wood drying shed.
We have a wide range of Curriculum for Excellence based workshops for secondary, primary and early years.
