We are committed to protecting the privacy of those using CultureNL services and the confidentiality of your personal information.

 

Data Protection

We have a legal requirement to let you know how we will manage your personal information and we are aware of the importance of handling your information appropriately and securely.

We will collect your personal information in order to provide you with services, answer enquiries and carry out various functions on behalf of North Lanarkshire Council. We may gather this personal information by phone, email, letter, or in an online form.

When we collect your information we will inform you about how it will be used, what legal basis we have for collecting it, how long we will keep it and what rights you have. We will store it securely and ensure it is only passed to third parties in line with our data protection statement or any privacy notice that we have issued in relation to the information.

You have various rights to ask to see your information, ask for it to be deleted, ask for inaccuracies to be corrected and withdraw consent for specific uses. These rights vary depending on why we hold the information and the legal basis that allows us to hold it.
