Caldercruix Community Centre is host to many community-based activities aimed at keeping the community active and involved. Activities range from lunch clubs, carpet bowling, sewing classes, citizen advice bureaux, unemployed groups, keep fit classes, football training, after school clubs, management committee meetings, police surgeries, youth clubs, MSP and Councillor surgeries.
Caldercruix Community Centre would welcome any type of well organised social function for example dinner dances, end of year celebrations etc. Sporting activities and community-based projects would also be welcomed.
Facilities
Caldercruix Community Centre has a large main hall set with a stage at the rear. This hall can retain a maximum of 80 persons for a dinner dance event and 100 persons for a disco set up. The main hall can be adapted to suit the needs of almost any function and hard wearing surfaces make it an ideal place to have sporting events and community based groups of a more active nature.
There is also a committee room available for hire, which can accommodate small gatherings or meetings.
Kitchen facilities are available in Caldercruix Community Centre and are equipped to catering standards. This makes this an ideal setting for bringing in external caterers for a function or simply to cater for a hot buffet or meal prepared by yourself. There is a fridge available if required.
Transport
There is a bus stop situated 200 yards from the centre. For those who are travelling to the venue by car, there are limited parking facilities at the centre.
