Fun filled film making classes, every week for those keen on starting their Hollywood career early. Learn animation, script writing, editing, music and digital effects and work on some exciting outreach projects.

Covering the best use of digital cameras, stills photography, studio lighting, indoor and outdoor photography & Photoshop. From beginners to those with some knowledge these classes will provide a warm and friendly place to come and enjoy learning about photography and give you an opportunity to find out more about any areas of photography that you may have a particular interest in.

 

LEGO Animation Club

A brilliant way for kids to learn about creating their own animation work and have a great time amongst fellow like-minded LEGO fans.

 

Local Photo Walks

Summerlee Photomedia Studio, Every 2nd Wednesday, 10.30am – 12pm

From novices to power walkers! Be amongst fellow outdoor photography enthusiasts and find all the local sites of interest.

Based at Summerlee Museum, the area is rich in hidden gems to photograph. Get some expert tuition photographing the wonderful urban landscapes around the local Coatbridge area and its surroundings.

This is an activity that gives you a chance to practice your photography as well as getting some exercise. Led by one of our Photomedia experienced photography tutors.

TWENTY20 Pictures Project

Fridays (1pm – 3pm) & Saturdays (1.15pm – 3.15pm) from 23 August 2024 to June 2025

Short Documentary Film and Stop Motion Animation project for young people aged 14-18 years old. Creating stories, learning techniques in film camera work, sound and editing and masterclass sessions from industry professionals in documentary and animation. Helping to seek a route into areas of the Scottish film industry.
