Is your dad “rid-rotten” at singing? Got a grannie who steals the spotlight during “Happy Birthday” for all the wrong reasons? Know a caregiver who refuses to hum a tune? Bring them to our “Ah Cannae Sing – Aye ye Can!” Family Edition” session where we guarantee everyone you will be leaving the room with a new found confidence in your voice!
It’s as simple as this: you come along because you – or someone you’re bringing – think you/they can’t sing. You get 90 minutes with a group of people on the exact same boat as you, working with a highly acclaimed vocal coach who will break the ice, have you laughing, and – most importantly – singing your heart out by the end. There are no solos, no auditions, no opportunities for embarrassment, just pure confidence-boosting fun.
Your vocal coach will be the highly acclaimed Rachel Hynes. Rachel is an award‑winning Scottish soprano who has performed leading roles with major UK opera companies, including Scottish Opera, Welsh National Opera, English National Opera and Opera North. Alongside her stage career, she is a passionate advocate for Singing for Health, believes music is for everyone and loves helping people of all ages discover the joy of singing.
This “Ah Cannae Sing- Aye ye Can!” workshop is for everyone! That means young people and adults are welcome, so bring the family! (Please note, participants under the age of 16 are required to be accompanied by a participating adult).
