Scotland’s Noisiest Museum is about to get Noisier!

Scotland’s noisiest museum is about to get noisier as a brand-new programme of events, Music in the Museum, launches for 2024 at Summerlee Museum of Scottish Industrial Life, produced by North Lanarkshire Council’s arts development team. From thunderous Compton Pipe Organ performances to world-class “pop-up” opera, there’s a different musical event to experience each month in the unique surroundings of an industrial museum!

World-Class Music without Financial Barriers

… and we mean it! We want everyone to be able to access these events. Music in the Museum events are priced at £5* and ALL of our events have been set up with a limited number of free tickets to be made available to anyone who faces a financial barrier with a North Lanarkshire postcode, no questions asked.

Request a free ticket for one of the events.

*Scottish Opera’s Pop-Up Opera Double Bill is sold through Scottish Opera’s Box Office at a separate price. A limited number of free tickets for those who need them will still be available using the link above.
