What’s On at Colzium House & Museum

CultureNL and the Friends of Colzium provide a range of events and activities throughout the year at Colzium House and Gardens.

There is so much to explore at the Colzium Lennox Estate. Enjoy parkland with a wealth of flora and fauna, pathways, a challenging children’s adventure playground, not to mention a beautiful walled garden and water features.

Admission to the house and museum is free and is open to visitors for tours and a look around on the following events in 2019:


Every Thursday During Summer Holidays, 11am-3pm

Summer Family Activities
A different themed craft and museum activity each week.
£2-£5 for crafts.


Saturday 10 August, 11am-4pm

Festival of Sport
A celebration of Kilsyth’s sporting heritage including
trophies, medals and footballs from the museum
collection, hands on family sporting activities, and more.


Saturday 21 September, 11am-3pm

Doors Open Day
Guided tours of Colzium House and Museum and walled
garden, family games and activities, as well as a display of
horticulture, Kilsyth Flower Show trophies and a plant sale.


Thursday 17 October, 11am-3pm

October Week Spooky Activities
Drop in for spooky children’s activities and crafts.
£2 per craft.


Saturday 30 November, 11am-11pm

St Andrews Festival of Music and Culture
A daytime exhibition of music and culture followed by a
ceilidh dinner in the evening.


Primary & Nursery School museum workshops available
throughout May and June, including Romans, Knights
and Castles and Nature. Please call 01236 638460 for

The Visitor Centre, walled garden and café is open all
year round. The museum is open on event days and other
times by appointment.
