MacAuley Centre

The MacAuley Centre was built in 1980. The Building is used for a variety of purposes and activities including, keep fit, mother and toddler, slimming club, Councillor surgeries, bingo, senior citizen events, meetings and playgroup activities.

Any type of well organised social function or community based activity would be made welcome by MacAuley Community Centre and staff. This centre is not recommended for sporting activities.

Facilities

The MacAuley Centre has one main hall, which has a capacity intake of 60 persons for a dinner dance, this hall is not suitable for discos.

There is one committee room in the centre for use by small meetings or social groups, which can hold a maximum of 8 persons.

Kitchen facilities in the centre are of catering standard and can be used for the purpose of preparing meals or for a hot buffet. There is a fridge available if required.

Transport

We regret to inform patrons that there are no public transport facilities close to the MacAuley Centre and it is therefore advised that when travelling to the centre it is undertaken by car. There are limited car parking spaces at the centre itself.

The MacAuley Centre is well suited to people with disabilities, the hall has disabled toilet facilities and disabled access points.
