Beechbank Community Centre was built in 1982.
It is an ideal venue for social functions of any nature, including weddings, parties and discos. It has also been used by the community for activities such as carpet bowling, youth clubs, dance classes and is regularly used by the local mother and toddler group.
Beechbank has a unique main hall, situated on the ground floor, which can hold a maximum of 110 persons for the purpose of a dinner dance and 150 for a disco. Off the main hall are secluded areas where people can sit and get a break from the main hall activities without feeling excluded. To complement main hall requirements, there is a seated lounge area where you can relax.
Kitchen facilities are recommended for re-heating of food only and are therefore ideal for catering for hot buffets and heating of ready prepared food. There is also a small tabletop fridge available if required.
Beechbank Community Centre is accessible by public transport and the nearest bus stop can be found approximately 400 yards from the centre. Car parking facilities are available at the centre and can cater for up to 20 cars at any one time. For details on public transport, click here.
All ground floor facilities are accessible to disabled persons, with wheelchair access and toilet facilities available. However it is recommended that the lesser hall is not suitable for persons with disabilities.
Our Catering Services can cater for children’s parties, provide tea, coffee, scones, buffets and sit down meals at events – all at very competitive prices. Click here for further details, costs and booking information.
