North Lanarkshire Heritage Centre Reopening

North Lanarkshire will move to tier 4 of the Scottish Government’s Covid-19 protection levels from 6pm on Friday 20 November, therefore North Lanarkshire Heritage Centre will close from this date. This closure will be in place until Friday 11 December. We will provide further updates in line with government announcements.

The museum will operate reduce opening hours, advance booking and displayed guidance on hygiene, social distancing and safety measures as friendly reminders to everyone on how to enjoy their visit – these include floor stickers to emphasise two-metre distancing and supporting signage

The archives and local studies reading room will also reopen however much be booked in advance.

North Lanarkshire Heritage Centre has been awarded Good to Go status, designed by VisitScotland and recognised by the National Tourist Organisations of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. This Industry Standard mark confirms that we have followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, have a Risk Assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
