The CITB Health & Safety Awareness course is aimed at those who have entered or are about to enter the construction or civil engineering industry. The course aims to help learners to understand the potential hazards they may face and provides an overview of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues.
Topics covered during the 1 day course include:
- Typical construction hazards
- Health & safety law
- Manual Handling
- Working at heights
- Fire prevention
- Accident prevention
- Reporting unsafe acts
Successful completion of the Site Safety Plus 1 Day Health & Safety Awareness course will enable learners to apply for a CSCS Labourers (Green) Card.
The charge for this 1 day course is £120 including VAT. Lunch will not be provided. ITA funding can be used to meet this cost.
This course is delivered at Cumbernauld Library LogintoLearn Centre and will run on the following dates:
