Author Lesley Kelly visits Summerlee Museum of Scottish Industrial Life

CultureNL Libraries and Summerlee Museum of Scottish Industrial Life are delighted to host an author session with Lesley Kelly, author of the popular Health of Strangers fiction series.

Lesley is visiting Summerlee to talk about her latest title in the series, Death at the Plague Museum.

Three senior civil servants are dead or missing. As their brief is management of the deadly virus, Bernard, Mona and the rest of the hard-pressed Health Enforcement Team are fighting not just a pandemic, but government secrets.

Lesley debut novel, A Fine House in Trinity, was longlisted for the prestigious William McIlvanney award in 2016. Her Health of Strangers series continues to garner praise with Scottish crime writing veteran, Lin Anderson, describing Health of Strangers as ‘…an intriguing tale of crime in a post viral Edinburgh, told with panache.’
