Burnhead Senior Citizen Centre is attached to the main community centre and is used mainly by the senior citizens for the purpose of lunch clubs and games clubs. The hairdresser also pays a regular visit once a week.

Facilities

Burnhead Senior Citizen Centre is a fair sized hall with a fixed set up. Capacities for this hall are recommended at a maximum of 40 persons for a dinner dance outlay.

There are separate kitchen facilities for the Senior Citizen Centre. It is recommended that these facilities be used for re-heating food only.

Transport

Burnhead Senior Citizen Centre is situated in the heart of Viewpark next to the local housing office and supermarket. There is a bus stop close by and a large car park outside the centre, with up to 60 spaces. Local taxi amenities also operate from the car park.
